Tiffany Basinger is the Director and Co-Owner of Bluebird Montessori School, where she leads the school with a strong commitment to authentic Montessori education, thoughtful leadership, and high-quality early childhood care.
With more than 20 years of experience in early childhood education, Tiffany brings a combination of classroom experience, Montessori training, leadership, and organizational development to Bluebird. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, a Master’s degree in Social Work, and Montessori training that has shaped her approach to supporting children, families, and educators.
Tiffany believes that a successful Montessori school begins with a strong foundation: prepared environments, knowledgeable and supported teachers, meaningful relationships with families, and a consistent respect for each child’s individual development. Her role at Bluebird extends beyond the classroom to overseeing school operations, staff development, compliance, enrollment, and the continued growth of the school’s Montessori program.
Tiffany is passionate about creating an environment where teachers are equipped to do their best work and children are given the freedom, guidance, and consistency they need to grow. She places a strong emphasis on professional development, thoughtful classroom practices, respectful communication, and maintaining high standards across the school.
Through Bluebird’s ongoing Montessori teacher training and professional development, Tiffany works to ensure that educators continue to grow in their understanding of Montessori philosophy and child development.
Tiffany also developed Exploring Our World, a Bluebird enrichment program designed to expand children’s learning beyond the traditional classroom. The program encourages children to explore their community and the world around them through hands-on experiences, cultural learning, special visitors, and real-world connections.
Tiffany’s vision for Bluebird is to provide children with a safe, nurturing, and authentic Montessori environment where they can develop independence, confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning.
She believes that when children are surrounded by prepared environments, caring educators, strong relationships, and consistent expectations, they are given the foundation they need to thrive.

Bluebird classrooms are led by Montessori-trained educators who understand that the teacher’s role is to observe, guide, and support each child rather than simply direct the learning experience.
Our educators work within prepared Montessori environments and receive ongoing professional development to strengthen their knowledge of Montessori philosophy, child development, classroom guidance, communication, and safety.
Each classroom is supported by a Lead Teacher and Assistant Teacher, creating a collaborative environment where children receive individualized attention and consistent support.
