Sidnee Hatathlie

Mover Teacher

Hi, I’m Mrs. Sidnee. I completed my Elementary Education degree at Kansas State University and later earned my Master’s in Special Education from Emporia State University in 2022. I’m passionate about continuing my education so I can be better equipped to meet the needs of all my students. I have also had the opportunity to train in the Authentic Montessori method under our Director, Tiffany Basinger, which has greatly enhanced my ability to design a dynamic and child-focused learning environment.

This is my 7th year in education, and before joining Bluebird Montessori, I taught Kindergarten through 2nd grade. I’ve also served as a childcare provider at my church, where I developed a deep-rooted passion for nurturing and guiding young learners.

I am committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued, respected, and inspired to grow.

What excites me most about teaching is helping students discover their innate interests and using those to help them grow both inside and outside the classroom. I firmly believe that we can learn as much from children as they can learn from us—and from each other.
